PART IV Conclusion

The opportunity provided by this linking of the community-based resources of the Canadian Women's Health Network and the academically-based resources of the Centres of Excellence in Women's Health is unique in the history of the women's health movement in Canada and for Centres of Excellence in this country. As such, there is no guide map to follow to ensure its success. As a tool for change, it is an important and ground-breaking one and thus requires the commitment of all parties to work together to ensure its success. There is great potential, through this venture, for important and effective policy change in women's health in Canada.
