March 15 - 18, 2009 Halifax, NS
This conference will focus on how research has been used to improve policy and practice in women's and girls' health. We invite members of the women's health community: researchers, policy-makers and grassroots practitioners in Canada and abroad to join us. This is an opportunity to discuss how research has been used, and to exchange ideas and perspectives about the future of women's health research, policy and practice.
The conference will explore the relationships between research and policy or practice in the area of women's and girls' health. We will be inviting submissions for oral and poster presentations that explicitly address the ways in which research can be or is used to create better policies and practices - and ultimately better health for women- in Canada and around the world.
Further information for abstract submission and registration is available on-line.
