Hungry for change?
Unattainable body “ideals” encourage black and white judgments. We either ‘fit’ or we don’t. And the changing goal-posts mean we’re never certain, often obsessing about our appearance. Weight and shape preoccupations are rarely about vanity, or even health.
But subtle understandings help pave the path to acceptance and self-esteem, so NEDIC’s 2009 Shades of Grey Conference is all about embracing the nuances of beauty and exploring the complexities of health and well-being.
Conference registration is now open.
