Tuesday, February 22 at 7 PM - FREE at the NFB Mediatheque (150 John St.)
The Ontario Black History Society presents a screening of Resilience – Stories of Single Black Mothers, a collective memory of single mothers. What emerges from this story is a counter to stereotypes, which is replaced by a complex and richly detailed portrait of real women. Director Lana Lovell will be in attendance.
