Manitoba Status of Women is holding public consultations on domestic violence across the province. They want to hear the ideas and opinions of a range of stakeholders and individuals on how to reduce violence and improve services for people affected by domestic violence.
For details regarding the upcoming consultations that will take place in Winnipeg, please see the attached poster. They encourage you to forward this poster to any individual or organization in Winnipeg and surrounding area that may be interested in participating. They also encourage you to post the posters in a location that is visible to the public. To take part in the consultation, please contact Manitoba Status of Women to register (contact information below).
NOTE: The consultations will be taking place in English, but interpretation services will be available at the event taking place on April 2, 2012 at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain for those wishing to participate in French.
