Presented by Palliative Care McGill since 1976, this biennial Congress has earned its well-deserved reputation of being one of the world’s preeminent gatherings of palliative care professionals and others with an interest in the field.

Student SECTION: Students (bachelors, masters and doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows) are invited to register at special discounted rates. Take advantage of a great opportunity to meet colleagues in palliative care who share common interests, and to establish networks for possible future research and clinical collaborations. Palliative Care Volunteers: Palliative Care volunteers will find many sessions to interest them this year, particularly on the Friday. One of the Special Seminars will be Turning Good Intentions into Good Works: Skills Development for Volunteers and Coordinators in Palliative Care. Special one-day registration fee of $75 for volunteers to attend the Congress on Friday, October 12.
POST-CONGRESS EVENT: The 3rd International Cancer Fatigue Symposium will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Montréal (5-minute walk from the Palais des Congrès), on October 12-13, 2012 (immediately following the Congress). For more information, please visit www.fatiguesymposium.ca
