Gender Equity Conference
The South Asian Women’s Action Collective (SAWAC) will be hosting their first ever gender equity conference on Tuesday, November 6th at York University. The conference aims to engage women on the many issues faced by middle-aged South Asian women.

In preparation for the conference, we would like to engage women throughout the GTA in discussing the issues that most affect them and what topics they would like to see discussed in such a forum.

All women are invited to come out; we especially encourage mothers with young adult daughters to come to the sessions together to discuss their shared struggles and how to address inter-generational gaps.
