Questions on Openness and Transparency
1. What are your experiences regarding the openness and transparency of Health Canada’s therapeutic health product vigilance program for marketed health products ?
2. Have you ever looked for information on marketed health products on the Health Canada website and not been able to find it? If so, what type of information were you unable to find?
Openness is inviting, hearing, considering and sharing of information in the conduct of HPFB's business.
Transparency is facilitating access to and understanding of the information and processes HPFB uses to conduct its business.
Therapeutic health product vigilance is a term used for setting the standards and monitoring the safety, efficacy and quality of all health products available for sale in Canada.
Marketed health product is a pharmaceutical, biologic, medical device or natural health product that is marketed in Canada.
The EAC-VHP Secretariat looks forward to hearing from you.
