NEDIC Body-Image and Self-Esteem Conference
Printer-friendly versionThe National Eating Disorder Information Centre's fourth bi-annual Body-Image and Self-Esteem Conference is on May 9th & 10th, 2013.
One of the speakers will be Susie Orbach, a psychotherapist and writer. Her work on eating problems includes “Fat is a Feminist Issue” (1978), “Fat is a Feminist Issue II” (1982), “Hunger Strike” (1986), “On Eating” (2002), and her latest book, “Bodies” (2009). Susie is currently co-editing, “Fifty Shades of Feminism”, which will be published in Spring 2013.
