This is an invitation to victim service workers (both community-based and police-based) and justice system representatives (e.g., police officers, Crown counsel, judges, probation officers) in Greater Vancouver and Greater Toronto who are interested in participating in an interview for a study on the justice system's response to intimate partner violence against women with serious mental health concerns.

The study is being conducted by Dr. Katherine Rossiter, Postdoctoral Fellow with the Canadian Observatory on the Justice System’s Response to Intimate Partner Violence, and Associate Director of the FREDA Centre for Research on Violence Against Women and Children, in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University (www.fredacentre.com/research/rossiter). Please contact Katherine Rossiter by phone (778-782-5248) or email (rossiter@sfu.ca) for more information about the study and how you can participate.

Women with lived experiences are also being invited to participate in the study. Please contact me directly for further information, or if you would be willing to post a recruitment notice (flyer) in a location where women with intersecting experiences of domestic violence and mental health concerns access services in Greater Vancouver or Greater Toronto.
