Calgary Immigrant Women's Association
Promotes and supports the integration of immigrant women into the community and the larger Canadian society. Offers transportation to programs and/or services, settlement and integration support, information and referral services, family conflict resolution, language instruction and translation and parenting programs. Serves as an information and networking source for member agencies. Provides resources to strengthen the leadership skills of immigrant women. Prepares briefs and research material on issues that impact the lives of immigrant women.

Helps immigrant women and their families participate fully in Canadian society. Offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and prevention of family violence workshops. Provides counselling, bi-cultural parenting program, seniors program and support groups for abused women. Offers a mentoring program for immigrant women seeking imployment, outreach workshops, information and referrals and Making Changes program (pre-employment workshop for immigrant women).
