Offers shelter and counselling 24 hours a day to women in crisis and their children. Operates a 24-hour crisis line. Provides public education on family violence and dating violence to all communities in provincial Region 17.

Pincher Creek Women's Emergency Shelter Association

Provides safe shelter and support services for women and children fleeing abusive situations. Offers 24 hour counselling, educational programs, 24-hour crisis line, support groups, outreach and advocacy. Offers weekly Healing Circle, in-house support groups, advocacy, parenting skills, workshops on family violence, residential services, childcare, transportation, crisis intervention, referrals and information.

Provides shelter to abused women with children for a maximum three-week stay. Offers an outreach program to women who leave the shelter. Seed money fund provides for the start-up and development of new non-profit programs which may be proposed and are within the mission of Edmonton Women's Shelter.
