Atira Women’s Resource Society in Vancouver is seeking written proposals from evaluators interested in designing and conducting an in-depth, creative, participatory evaluation involving women ages 55+ at two safe/transitional housing programs in Canada. The project is called Building on Promising Practices across Canada for Housing Senior Women Experiencing Abuse.
Their objective is to create a collaboratively developed, pan-Canadian promising practices document, as well as a network of existing housing programs for elder women fleeing abuse. They invite proposals from evaluators whose objective will be to create an in-depth participatory evaluation and who will actively involve the women at both sites. Upon project completion, the evaluator will produce a document containing Preliminary Promising Practices detailing the results of their research. The proposal should address an understanding of the project’s requirements and should include any information demonstrating experience in the field, as well as any additional information outlined in the requirements section of the RFP.
Deading for proposals: November 5, 2012
