The focus of this report is describing the process of Phase II of the "Invisible Women" project. Section I is a narrative and story of Phase II as it unfolded over several years. Section II is an analysis using frameworks of policy analysis. Using the frameworks illuminates why early conceptions of the Phase II project were such a challenge, particularly given the complexity of health policy and planning in decentralized policy networks.

It moves you on to the all‐important issue of keeping an emergency plan alive through regular updating, practice, outreach to emergency managers, and networking for neighborhood preparedness. The Guide ends with a brief introduction to the global movement of women for social change to reduce avoidable harm. Immigrant, Refugee and Visible Minority Women of Saskatchewan
The report provides excerpts from the stories recounted by immigrant and refugee women and information about how they addressed their experiences with community based services, what was useful to them in their healing, and what the barriers were. It also describes the knowledge and awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among physicians, psychiatrists and other service providers and their experiences with immigrant and refugee women suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Finally, the study also begins to draw parallels with the experiences of Aboriginal women.

In this study, the link between a low-income mother's ability to find affordable recreation programs for her children and her health is examined. To a lesser extent, this research included an exploration of how municipal governments devise policies and programs to facilitate access to recreation and enrichment programs for low-income families.
