For the past two years the blog’s readership has steadily grown and GWAP is now an essential resource in the field of FASD prevention.
This blog is supported by the Network Action Team (NAT) on FASD Prevention from a Women’s Health Determinants Perspective. The NAT has over 40 members from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and theYukon and includes researchers, service providers and policy advisors.
The Nat seeks to build a strong knowledge base related to FASD prevention through work with women and their support systems on a range of health and social issues, and to bring this knowledge into research, prevention, treatment, policy, and community settings. The purpose of this blog is to share news, research findings, and perspectives on FASD prevention.
