The Centre for the Study of Gender, Social Inequities and Mental Health (CGSM) has announced their annual 2013 Community Based and Academic Trainee opportunities as well as their two year Post Doctoral Fellowship (2013-15).
The CGSM seeks to ameliorate gender and social inequities in the fields of mental health and substance use through innovative critical research, knowledge exchange and training initiatives. The CGSM is especially committed to learning from and training those with lived experiences of resisting social marginalization and/or stigmatization.
The term for each of these appointments begins January 2nd, 2013, and applications are due the beginning of November. Interviews will take place shortly thereafter, with successful candidates notified by December 1st 2012.
Trainees receive a $17,850 annual fellowship plus a $3,000 research stipend. The Post Doctoral Fellow will receive an annual award of $36,750 and research stipend of $5,000.
