The Ontario Black History Society [3] presents a screening of Resilience – Stories of Single Black Mothers [4], a collective memory of single mothers. What emerges from this story is a counter to stereotypes, which is replaced by a complex and richly detailed portrait of real women. Director Lana Lovell will be in attendance.
