The British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women's Health in collaboration with Women's Cardiovascular Health at the University of British Columbia is pleased to announce the following opportunity.
They are looking for a qualified and capable part time research assistant to join their team. This position would be well suited to a university graduate with some experience in women's health and a strong background in qualitative research. The incumbent will be interacting with team members for requests for varied information, conducting sensitive qualitative interviews with study subjects, their care providers, hospital staff and managers, as well as working directly with the Project Coordinator to coordinate interview schedules.
The ideal candidate is a university graduate (Master's degree in Social Sciences, Women's Studies, Population & Public Health, or other relevant discipline) with a minimum of two years of related experience in a research environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. You will have effective oral and written communication skills, you must be skilled with qualitative data analysis and bibliographic management software (e.g. NVivo, Endnote) and demonstrate excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
