Analyzes statistical data regarding wealth distribution in Canada. Demonstrates that there exists a persistant inequality in the distribution of wealth. Stresses that lone-parent families headed by women were the poorest of all families in Canada in terms of their wealth,just as lone-parent families headed by women are among the poorest families year after year in terms of their current incomes.
