Forms a network of individuals, groups, organizations and institutions concerned with women's health. Focuses on the importance of information sharing, education and advocacy for women's health and equality, and works to build and strengthen the women's health movement in Canada and throughout the world.
(See Details)Provides individual employment counselling for immigrants by effectively marketing clients from around the world. EPW works with clients to provide programs and services to connect individuals born outside Canada with local employers.
(See Details)Stradbrook Avenue Centre offers a wide range of programs and services addressing the various needs and interest of older adults. Participants stay active by taking part in fitness classes such as Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga or Creative pursuits which include Painting and Drawing, Writing and Crafts as well as Choir or Spiritual Exploration class, which focuses on self awareness. Special events centering on celebrations and social gathering, along with free informative presentations related to health and wellness or topics of particular interest to older adults, in addition to one-on-one computer coaching contribute to Stradbrooks's diverse programing during the year. Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4:30 p.m. a congregate meal program is available.
