Offers resources that enable women and their families to freely pursue opportunities for Growth, Choice and Change. Services include: safe house emergency shelter, education, counseling, a women's centre, workshops and information relating to women's issues, and referrals to appropriate agencies.

Operates a shelter for women, with or without children, who are victims of family violence or confronted with any crisis. Offers weekly support groups for women, training and information regarding self-esteem, life skills, empowerment, custody, legal issues and family violence.

The Brenda Strafford Society for the Prevention of Domestic Violence is a second-stage shelter for women and their children who have fled domestic violence. The Centre offers a safe and secure environment. During their six-month stay at the Centre, both women and children are provided with programs and services in a supportive yet independent environment.  Programs and services include: Residential Programs, Outreach Programs, Child & Youth Programs, Child Care Programs and Community Support.

Provides emergency shelter for women and children fleeing abusive relationships. Provides follow up advocacy and support services to women living in the community in abusive situations and those leaving shelters (WACAV). Resource listing.

Forms an organization that offers a 24-hour crisis line, battered women's shelter, support groups, and help when dealing with social services, police, courts or hospitals.

Provides safe, short-term and supportive accommodation for abused women and their children. Provides information groups for women on family violence, self-esteem and parenting. Offers one-on-one crisis intervention and a 24 hour crisis line. Provides a follow-up program for women and children setting up on their own.
