The Ottawa Community Care Access Centre (OCCAC) exists to provide in-home health and support services to our community, to coordinate the placement of clients into long-term care facilities and to offer program and service information. We help you get the health information and services you need, including assessments, individual care planning and the purchase and coordination of services at home and in school as well as access to long term care facilities.
(See Details)The Interlake Regional Health Authority is responsible for the operation and administration of facility and community based health programs and services at a regional level within the Interlake region of Manitoba. The Interlake RHA is responsible within the context of broad provincial policy direction, for assessing and prioritizing those services and programs based on evidence based needs and developing and managing an integrated approach to health care delivery.
The Regional Health Authorities Act legislation came into force on April 1, 1997. It sets out the conditions under which the RHA's are incorporated, as well as defining duties and responsibilities of the Regional Health Authorities, for ensuring effective health planning and delivery.
