Healthy Choices in Pregnancy is a component of the BC government ActNow BC platform designed to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness among wonmen who use substances in the childbearing years. Organizations invovled are the British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women's Health, the BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre, the BC Perinatal Health Program and the Province of British Columbia.
(See Details)The Canada FASD Research Network (CanFASD), formerly known as the Canada Northwest FASD Research Network, was established in March of 2005, through the support of the Canada Northwest FASD Partnership (CNFASDP). CanFASD is a formally and informally connected group of professionals from a range of research sciences, and located across Canada. Their mission is to produce and maintain national, collaborative research designed for sharing with all Canadians, leading to prevention strategies and improved support services for people affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
