The National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCCID) is one of six centres funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The six centres form a network across Canada, each hosted by a different institution and focusing on a different topic in public health.
Our primary functions are:
Knowledge synthesis, translation and exchange to incorporate evidence from research and experience into policy and practice
Identification of knowledge gaps in research and practice
Network development among the NCCs and other existing networks and organizations to support the use of evidence in decision –making and the various governance structures for public health.

Acts as a support and self-help group for women who have had, have or are thinking of having silicone gel breast implants. Works with doctors, researchers and others to gain more knowledge about the health conditions caused by silicone leakage.
New Realities is a centre for recovery from Eating Disorders, such as binge eating, compulsive overeating, bulimia, and anorexia. The centre offers non-residential counselling with a holistic approach.
The SAFE program is a registered non-profit organization that started in London, ON. It was developed to meet the needs of self-abusive men and women whose prior experiences with the mental health system left them increasingly dysfunctional and resistant.
