The aims of the havens are to provide both excellent holistic care for sexual assault and gold standard evidence collection. The havens are jointly funded by the Metropolitan Police and the 31 NHS Primary Care Trusts in London. They also offer specialised and accredited education and training focusing on victim care.
Operates a 24-hour crisis line, individual and/or group counselling and children's play therapy. Offers presentations, workshops and print material on sexual violence. Provides a support Process Group, available to women who have participated in an initial 14-week group.

Works closely with community organizations to assure survivors receive the best possible service and referrals to appropriate agencies. 24 hour crisis line provides supportive listening and choices, information and referrals.
