Provides an overview of the lives of women in the Yukon, using selected satatistical data and raises awareness of some of the issues facing Yukon women today. The report compares the lives of Yukon women and men, and those of Yukon women and Canadian women. It highlights areas where iniquities exist and persist as well as where policy may need to be focused or altered. It also likely identifies areas for further research, discussion and policy/program focus.
