Provides leadership through: its code of ethics, a standard for professional preparation, research and practice; professional development; and, public outreach.
Works to foster exchange of information and resources related to international health education. Aims to improve understanding of various peoples and their cultures for effective health education. Cooperates with various international and American national organizations and agencies to achieve these aims, within its society's general mission goals.
