Assaulted Women's Helpline

Provides a 24-hour telephone and TTY line for women in the province of Ontario for: crisis counselling; emotional support; safety planning; guidance around options; and, referrals for shelters, rape crisis centres, legal services and supports, community based supports, criminal justice supports and services, counsellors and therapists, support groups, and culturally and linguistically appropriate services. Also offers training, seminars and workshops for the non-profit and private sector. Web site includes information on abuse and links to other organizations and web sites.
